Apparently there is a Joyful Warrior. She threatens to sue if I use anything close to "her" trademark.
So ends THIS Joyful Warrior.
In a world that is so transitional and temporary for all of us, none of us truly owns anything. Even my house will eventually not be mine no matter how much I spend trying to "own" it. We need the assuredness of our mark. To have importance, a sense of safety we need to believe something, someone, even a concept belongs to us. It gives us a sense of identity. And yet, one of my favourite Buddhist stories... the Sage says to the seeker, "Death is no solution." "And living?" asks the seeker. "Nor living" is the reply, "But who told you there is a solution?"
Everything in the material world is only on loan. Be gentle and kind.
